Dwello Terms of Use

Welcome to Dwello, operated by DWELLO VENTURES COMPANY LIMITED (“Dwello,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the platform.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dwello, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our platform.

  1. Our Services

Dwello is Uganda’s trusted real estate platform, connecting buyers, tenants, landlords, agents, and developers. We provide property listings, commercial space opportunities, land sales, and related services. Dwello does not own or control the properties listed unless explicitly stated.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Dwello. By using our services, you confirm that all information you provide is true and accurate.

  1. User Categories and Responsibilities

Agents & Developers

  • Must provide accurate and verified property information.
  • May be required to submit documentation for property ownership or authorization to list.
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with local real estate laws.

Landlords

  • Must ensure all property details, pricing, and terms are accurate.
  • Are solely responsible for negotiating with tenants/buyers.

Tenants & Buyers

  • Must exercise due diligence before engaging in transactions.
  • Responsible for verifying property ownership and terms before making payments.

General Users

  • May browse and share listings but must not misuse the platform for fraudulent or misleading purposes.
  1. Payments
  • Dwello uses PayPal and Stripe for secure transactions.
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or in cases of duplicate transactions.
  • Dwello is not responsible for payment disputes between users.
  1. Property Listings
  • Listings must be accurate and comply with local laws.
  • Dwello reserves the right to remove any misleading, fraudulent, or duplicate listings.
  • Important Notice: Any transactions carried out outside the Dwello platform are at the user’s own risk. Dwello shall not be liable for losses arising from such transactions.
  1. Intellectual Property

All logos, trademarks, content, and designs on Dwello are the property of DWELLO VENTURES COMPANY LIMITED. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

  1. Privacy

Use of Dwello is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

  1. Dispute Resolution
  • In case of disputes, parties agree to first attempt arbitration or mediation in Kampala, Uganda.
  • If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to the courts of Uganda under Ugandan law.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • Dwello provides a platform to connect real estate stakeholders but does not guarantee transactions.
  • We are not liable for fraud, misrepresentation, or failure to complete property transactions between users.
  1. Termination of Use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or abuse.
  • Violate these Terms of Use.
  1. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Dwello after updates means you accept the new Terms.
